Today for lunch:
Chicken Mcnuggets, Lao style (means it's real chickens that really walk around).
Green bean salad: take a papaya salad, and instead use green beans, chopped about an inch long. I'd slice 'em too, if I were doing it, I think.
Little tied up things: take a piece of roasted pork, scrambled egg, mint, and cilantro, and tie it up into a little bite sized packet with wild green onions.
Zucchini-like or cucumber-like veggies sliced (reminds me of Chinese okra, aka, si-gua, but it isn't) and stir fried with mu-er (?)- tree fungus mushrooms. Called "mouse ears" in Lao. Much more appealing than its names sound.
Dessert: sliced dragon fruit, pineapple and banana.
