Milky Way

Around 1:40am this morning, I saw the Milky Way. It seems to be east of Orion. That is, usu. I see Orion at the horizon around 9:30pm. And no Milky Way. It seems when Orion's high overhead you can see it, just to its east. I'm confused b/c in FL I could always see it w/o being up so late. Really very nice.

I think Jupiter is near Venus around evening time- both very bright.

This morning I heard singing. It's probably the last we'll hear of it as TV has arrived to the village. M's bro-in-law had to help repair the barbed wire fence that allowed all the water buffalo in this morning.
